SOFTSHELL
The best protection against unforgiving weather, water and wind.
Issaline Softshell garments incorporate a TPU (High Performance Polymer) membrane from the world of sports, guaranteeing two fundamental aspects: waterproofing and breathability.
A membrane that contains thousands of micro holes that, on the one hand, prevent the passage of water from the outside to the inside, and on the other hand, allow sweat or humidity to be expelled, thus maintaining a comfortable body temperature.
How is the degree of waterproofing and breathability of the softshell measured?
WP - WATERPROOF: Through the ‘water column’, which represents the pressure exerted by a specific amount of water when passing through a point, in this case, through the fabric. It´s expressed in MM and the higher the value, the greater the water resistance of the fabric.
BR - BREATHABILITY: The amount of water vapor (sweat) that passes through one m2 of fabric in 24 hours: Grams / m2 / 24 hours. It is expressed in MVP and the higher the value, the higher the level of breathability.
TEFLON
It consists of a protective treatment for the fabric of the clothing that helps repel water, oils and stains. A solution that is used particularly in high visibility garments which will ensure better resistance and maintenance of them.
CORDURA
It is a high-performance technical fabric with great resistance to abrasion and tearing.
Fabrics made with Cordura® thread have great resistance towards friction and abrasion. When compared to cotton, fabrics with Cordura® thread, are able to withstand abrasion up to 10 times more.
KEVLAR
It is a synthetic paramide fiber used in the manufacture of protective garments and clothing due to the great impediment it provides not only against impacts, but also high and low temperatures. In addition, it´s a fiber that has great resistance to traction and chemicals, and its characterized by being a lightweight material.
E-CARE
It consists of a fabric that absorbs the electromagnetic waves of the mobile.
